Hex socket head cap screw(Nihon Fastener Kogyo(Coarse Steel Zinc plated(Silver) 8 X 25 Pitch 1.25

Designed for simple fastening, these pins are driven into the mating material and resist withdrawal through their spring action. No special installation tools are required.

Features/
① Self-locking is achieved by inserting the pin into a mating hole slightly smaller than the pin's outer diameter.
② Lighter weight than a solid shaft (solid pin) due to its hollow construction.
③ Does not require the precise hole tolerances associated with shaft-to-hole "fit tolerances," allowing use that takes advantage of deflection.
④ When used as a hinge in resin components, the spring action enables multiple functions simultaneously. (Retention in any position + rotation, etc.)
⑤ The deflection characteristic compared to a solid shaft provides strong resistance to vibration-induced loosening and fallout.
⑥ Double pinning is also possible to increase shear strength.
